Welcome to Girlguiding UK, Coventry South Division
We are part of the UK's largest voluntary organisation that offers lots of opportunities to learn and experience new and exciting activities in a safe and unique girl only space. Whatever your age, wherever you live, whenever you are available - we have something to offer you.
Guiding in Coventry South is very active with over 1,200 members (girls and adults) meeting in 56 groups across the following areas of the city:
In each of the above Districts we have sections for all age groups:
Phoenix and Greyfriars Districts also have groups for 14 to 25 year olds
Click on the relevant section to find out more about the activities and opportunities for each age group, along with details of where each section group is located. For further information about costs & Child Safety is available here.
Alternatively, visit our District pages, to find details of groups for all ages in your area.
I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage you to buy uniforms, books and other exciting items from our Guide shop as, unlike high street shops, we profit from any items purchased at the Guide shop as it is returned back to Guiding. Please visit www.coventryguideshop.org.uk for further information.
As a Division we are also fortunate to have our own campsite that enables us to provide lots of camping and outdoor activities.
We are very lucky to have a large, friendly team of enthusiastic volunteers who help to make this happen. However, we welcome new volunteers, whether you can give a lot of time or only a little. Every little helps and is greatly appreciated by all. Volunteering has lots of benefits, including fun and friendship of working together to achieve great things!
So, why not take a look at recent activities and contact us if you or your daughter would like to get involved.
Thank you
Janet Monteith
